A photographic ode to Saturday's beautiful blue sky! Offset with streaks of white clouds and Yellowstone Lake State Park's towering white birches, I was appreciating one of mother nature's favorite color combinations.
As the popular lyric goes,
"Blue skies Smiling at me Nothing but blue skies Do I see"
Such a clear blue sky after February's dreariness was gift enough, but when combined with warmer temperatures, the first deep thaw of the season and being at my favorite hiking spot with those I love the most, the day was elevated to magical status!
BLUE SKY by Soul Full Sanctuary Photography
"Don't worry, even if you fall over! It's all right. You can just pick yourself up again! When you fall over, make the most of the chance to look up and see the sky. You will see the blue sky spreading endlessly above you and smiling down. ...You are alive!"

BLUE CANVAS by Soul Full Sanctuary Photography
"In the sky an infinitude of hope, a canvas of glory — all possibilities mine."
REACH HIGH by Soul Full Sanctuary Photography
“Only as high as I reach can I grow, only as far as I seek can I go, only as deep as I look can I see, only as much as I dream can I be.”
– Karen Ravn
BLUE DREAM OF SKY by Soul Full Sanctuary Photography
"I thank you God for this most amazing day, for the leaping greenly spirits of trees, and for the blue dream of sky and for everything which is natural, which is infinite, which is yes."

ALONG THE PATH by Soul Full Sanctuary Photography
"Slow way down, pause for a moment, touch the earth, look up into the sky, attune to the breath that is moving in and out of you. Take a look and see. The path is everywhere. "

THE BIRCHES by Soul Full Sanctuary Photography
“I'd like to go by climbing a birch tree ~ And climb black branches up a snow-white trunk Toward heaven, till the tree could bear no more, But dipped its top and set me down again. That would be good both going and coming back. One could do worse than be a swinger of birches.”
